Take a minute to evaluate gaps at the bottom, top, or sides of doors leading to the outside of your home. Also, evaluate the door leading into the garage. Can you see light coming through? Do you feel a draft of air? If so, it is time for some ‘new’ weather stripping around these areas.  Gaps in doors make easy access for pest.

• Consider removal of leaves from your gutters, as well as the foundation of your home.

• With warmer weather approaching, ants and a variety of pests will use accumulated leaves to nest.

• Clean the leaves around your gutters, down spouts, and foundation before the spring rains.

Be sure to remember to pick up leaves around your home before it warms up to prevent breeding sites of unwanted pests.
